Pro: small, quick and intuitive. pretty good image quality, flexible.
Con: Autofocus issues while zoom x20 and up, not always choosing the correct I.A settings.

Value for money

I use this camcorder to make videos of myself and my family. When I was coming to B&H to buy a camcorder I was thinking about Samsung, but as soon as I tested it in the shop I found out that its autofocus is just bad. My next choice was JVC and the difference was huge!

Better hand grap, better quality of the picture and pretty fast auto focus. I liked it.

Now I'm using it occasionally and happy with it. It is lightweight and what I like most is that to switch it on you just need to open the LCD. To shut off - just close the LCD. This is sooo useful!

I would definately recommend this camera for those who don't bother about external microphone, because there is no input for it. But since I don't need it, I'm happy with this JDC thing.

The only thing I don't like about this device is short battery life. It lives for one hour and something and then you should look for a sochet to recharge it. Too bad.

This camcorder has had limited use so far, but it has all the features and formats that I need. It is very feature rich.

I particularly don't care for the touch screen LCD. My fingers are larger than the available space for activating a specific feature.
